After arriving in Istanbul, you will be met by our private transfer and driven north toward the forests near the Black Sea coast. As the urban scenery slowly fades away, green hills, fresh air and wide forest views begin to surround you. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and leads to your hotel close to the riding area.

In the evening, we gather for a relaxed welcome dinner where you meet your guide and fellow riders. This first night is dedicated to settling in, discussing the riding program ahead and preparing for the forest trails awaiting you. Your horseback riding holiday begins in a peaceful atmosphere, far from the noise of the city.

Following breakfast, we depart for the ranch in the morning. After meeting the horses and enjoying a short coffee break, we saddle up and begin riding into the wooded heart of Belgrad Forest. The route follows historic water structures built during the Ottoman era, including Sultan Mahmud II Dam and Valide Sultan Dam.

Continuing deeper into the forest, we reach Topuzlu Dam, one of the oldest reservoirs constructed to supply water to Istanbul. Here, we pause for a short rest surrounded by birdsong and forest air. Lunch is served at a private picnic spot beneath tall trees, where hammocks offer a moment of relaxation after the morning ride.

In the afternoon, we mount our horses again and ride back along shaded trails toward the ranch. A transfer returns us to the hotel for dinner and rest after a full day in nature.

After breakfast, we return to the ranch and prepare for another full day on horseback. Today’s route leads us through lesser-known forest paths toward Ayazma Square, a site connected with local legends and stories passed down through generations.

From there, narrow trails guide us to the remains of St. George’s Anglican Church, where history and nature merge in quiet harmony. The ride continues toward Kömürcü Dam, located in the deepest part of the forest. Lunch is prepared as a rustic outdoor picnic with grilled food and warm drinks, enjoyed beside the water.

In the afternoon, we ride calmly back through shaded woodland routes. The sounds of hooves, leaves and birds accompany us as we return to the ranch and later to the hotel for the evening.

This morning we once again head to the ranch after breakfast. Today’s ride takes us toward the village of Çiftalan and the nearby lakes, following gentle paths between water and forest. We stop by the lakeshore for a short break, allowing both horses and riders to relax in the peaceful surroundings.

From here, the route turns north toward Kısırkaya Beach on the Black Sea coast. Upon arrival, lunch is served at a seaside restaurant featuring regional dishes and fresh seafood. After lunch, there is time to enjoy the beach, walk along the shore or swim. Riders who wish may experience the rare moment of riding their horse into the sea.

Later in the day, we return slowly toward the ranch and are transferred back to the hotel. Forest, village life and coastline come together in one unforgettable riding day.

On the final riding day, we follow familiar forest paths for one last journey through Belgrad Forest. The route passes again near Kömürcü Dam and continues toward Kurtkemeri Cottage, where a farewell picnic lunch awaits beneath tall plane trees.

After lunch, we enjoy a final two-hour ride around Ayvat Dam, moving slowly through tranquil woodland scenery. The return to the ranch marks the end of the riding program, but not the memories created along the way. Transfer is provided back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
